I Could
I could let myself love you...
I could also let the grass in front of my suburban home grow wild
I could let myself love you...
I could also leave my windows so carelessly open in the middle of a storm;
let the rain in
I could let myself love you...
I could also run my car around on an eternal quarter tank of gas
I could let myself love you...
I could also leave the lights on 24 hours a day;
run my electric bill as high as the sky
I could let myself love you...
I could also walk around in thunderstorms with a metal rod
I could let myself love you...
I could also hurl myself into oncoming traffic;
pray for reliable brakes
I could let myself love you...
I could also step off from a ledge of the highest cliff;
hope gravity is as relative as time
I would let myself love you...
If only I could let myself love you
I could also let the grass in front of my suburban home grow wild
I could let myself love you...
I could also leave my windows so carelessly open in the middle of a storm;
let the rain in
I could let myself love you...
I could also run my car around on an eternal quarter tank of gas
I could let myself love you...
I could also leave the lights on 24 hours a day;
run my electric bill as high as the sky
I could let myself love you...
I could also walk around in thunderstorms with a metal rod
I could let myself love you...
I could also hurl myself into oncoming traffic;
pray for reliable brakes
I could let myself love you...
I could also step off from a ledge of the highest cliff;
hope gravity is as relative as time
I would let myself love you...
If only I could let myself love you
