"Etched in Leather."

Counting down each mile and
each state line that You cross

Each mile is another etch in
the belt and each state line is
another memory of all that
you once called home

Looking out the Windows as the
landscape passes in a blur
somehow makes you realize
that Your life swiftly passing by
is also obscure

So tired of materialism and sweating
just for the end-result of the
possession of things

To live to just live and be contented
with no matter what the condition
is, is to Me ecstasy

I've laid my head down on the earth
for a pillow and gazed into the
heavens and felt it wrap me like a
blanket with its warmth and thought
to myself,

"What more could I want,"

"Want;"

A desire to Me that can become
obsessive and insatiable, never being
satisfied and inflicting and making
miserable our eternal soul

"Oh to be purged of these cancerous
 afflictions and feel an incredible
  lightness of being that does
       not harm or control,"

But guides us into an balance and
harmony with all things that quickly
recompenses so that all things are
effortlessly tended to a made full
