You asked me to pretend, but there is nothing false about what I feel. I am a little scared I must admit. I've never felt this way before, you are my first of everything. I have confidence in letting you lead the way. I believe you are brave to want to bother with me, as I can be hard to tame. All I wish is those oceans to dry up and I can begin my pilgrimage into your arms.

Tears can be like oceans sometimes, and the waiting for them to dry can seem like an eternity. Also, methinks whenever new people meet there must always be a sense of bravery since trusting requires taking a chance always. This is a lovely poem, very beautiful and filled with depth! Well written... it is the first of your poems I have read actually and I must say I do indeed like it a lot. :)
