Leaving
I took my bag,
My pencils and notebook,
Knowing I can't come back.
Look,
Now that you're gone,
I have no reason to stay here.
Everyday the same haze, place..
Conquering the same fears.
Maybe we will meet again,
Only time will tell.
But eversince you left us..
There's nothing left but hell.
Mommy I must go,
'Cause daddy is a butcher.
It seems he lost his interest,
And I know he tries his best..
But reminds me of Ashton Kutcher.
I was never meant to hurt no one,
It's just the way life goes.
But I must follow the river,
Remember how it flows?
It's cold out here in Arkansas,
I think I forgot my coat.
People treat me well out here,
I'm happy I took that boat.
Weather here is cloudy,
With a chance of you and I..
But the streets back home are crowdy,
So I guess this is goodbye.
Mommy I can't come back yet,
'Cause dad is still a butcher.
I think he lost all interest,
And I know he tries his best..
Still reminds me of Ashton Kutcher.
It was never my object to hurt anyone,
It's just the way life goes.
But I'm following the river,
Remember how it flows?
You never got my letter,
It's time to make amends..
It's a shame I have to leave this town,
I made a couple friends.
But things are getting better.

I turned my frown upside down,
I'm taking the next boat.
