My bane goes without saying
Has poisoned my heart
Wrapped in venomous thorns
Piercing chambers left untouched
When roses in black are born
I am flayed open
For all to see
The truth behind
The lies you breed
Lost passing of time
When the clock strikes late
Our love has turned
Into something I hate
You stayed this long
To suck me dry
A succubus renown
For her spit and lies
Lay me down to sleep

Peel my eyes to see
The bile inside
No more to take
Of what was mine
When will I awake
From this fitful sleep

When the serpent creeps
