Step into the dark with me
And see the wonders that await
Around the corners of your mind
And all the things you can't sedate
Reign supreme in the rain of blood
The crumbs from the table of God
But they await just out of reach
We cease to believe what we preach
I will find what has become mine
I'm wasting my time
On broken paradigms
Nothing ever last forever
The curse of mortality
Is a burden I never
Will embrace
Morality
Step into the dark with me
And see the wonders that await
Around the corners of your mind
And all the things you can't sedate
Witness the nightfall with me
And see the horrors that relate
To the suffering in your mind
And all the things you can't sedate
The diluted bloodlines severed
From my immortality
Delusions twisting fevers
Harrowing
Calamities
Why must I struggle to survive
Just to die lonely in the night?
These are the answers I demand
But like sand, they slip through my hands
Tragic scenes replay in my head
Like lingering dead
Beneath my burning bed
And, so, we will sing them this song
Lamenting the days long gone
My guardian angel, lies
Is really the reaper in disguise
Poisoning the soul
Ticking the clock
Licking at the pool
As my blood flows
