Go Forth and Munch
Leaky Food
That is my gripe
and we all suffer frum it.
My horse, does not afflicted by this.
He eats grass.
I should do likewise.
A pound of salad, or 16 ounces, has 100 calories.
At least the leafy type. A hundred calories, why that is a fair punch of energy.
Do that twenty times a day, and you have eaten what an active grown male needs.
Salad will release its power slowly. I should spell that slowwwwwllllyyyy.
Grass is a much tougher course in a 20 course meal. Cows, Horses, and yes, the dreaded Rabbit,
must regurgitate their food and chew it again and again to their four stomachs. Slowly, slowly,
A well managed gut filled with grass and leafe chompings, will emit their food energy like a large fermentation vat.
It is not really What you eat, ( as a horse, cow, goat, or , or rabbit) It is focusing the attention on the overall
Status of the Vat. Go out in the dangerous wild, grab a heap of leaves and grass, then head for safety, where you can
much, regurgitate, munch again, in peace, safety and solitude. No Wife needed to dote over you and ask how the cooking went and
when you actually tell the truth or try to offer some helpful criticism, she bursts into tears everytime, which means a trip to the flower shop
and jewelry store or at least to Macys, where various creams and salves for the beautification of the face must be laid on before any thoughts of laying
could otherwise be expected in the near future.
But then let me snap out of my dreams of one day being a horse, and return to the plate before me.
Rice, Meat, bread, Spahgetti, a glass of coke, a hamburger.
All leaky foods. Leaky as all get out. You eat, swallow,
boom, it hits your stomach, and the foods within an hour,
Max 4 hours, have completely left your stomach, and entered the manifold
vessels, flowing blood, enriched with food, past the stomach, and small intestines.
Your Liver absorbs the major glucose punch, knitting together a human-formed starch
called glycogen - get it? - It can 'generate' 'glucose', when it comes time to use that starch.
Fats can be stored in nearby fat cells, which not uncoincidentally, are right there, next to the
tummy.
Well you say, "So What?"
Whats wrong with that?
well the answer is, since modern amarican industrially produced
food is so ground up, purified, and without its normally associated fluff,
also known as FIBER, the job of the stomach and the small intestines, has, well,
they have lost their job. Unemployed. Out of work. There is no grandly cared for fermentation vat
a-goin on down there, no, the food has made a mad dash stage left, and has exited the building, where it
happily resides in your body. Puffing it up. Stressing it to the max. Thats right, a wallop of leaky food
hitting your body means your body has to go into overtime processing it. It cant use it all at once, no,
in needs food spread evenly over twenty four hours. Leaky food leaves an empty stomach, and an engorged body.
And what does an empty stomach trigger? Well it is the H word.
And what does the H word cause?
A trip to Burger Nation. Pizza Palace. Krunchy Cookie.
You might have noticed, more people, (Human Beings) are gittin purty
big. Yep, look around you.
So the goats, horses and cows, not to mention rabbits, have got it all figured out.
They fill their intestinal tracts with slowww release foods. As the body needs, the body gets.
The body itself is not burdened with the task of repeatedly storing food, to release it back slowly.
The intestinal tract has kept that job.
My Rant today, is Give your Intestines a Job!
Eat Large amounts of salads. Also Carrots, and the japanese turnips.

Let your body sit back and enjoy the steady trickle of nutrients, like a tiny waterfall in the Amazonian Jungle,
falling a thousand feet to give a light rain on the swimmers below.
