What Can You Do
What can you do,
When there's nothing left to lose,
When old loves fade away,
And there's nothing left to say
What can you do,
When the light in life starts to dim
When happiness runs far,
And you don't think it's coming back again.
I can't promise you the world,
Or that everything will be alright,
But there is one thing I can guarantee,
It's always worth the fight.
Oh oo--oh
What can you do,
When loneliness clouds you soul
When it seems like no one is there,
And the pain swallows you whole.
What can you do,
When regrets chase you throughout the night,
When sleep is no longer an escape,
Because nothing seems to turn out right.
And on those long, cold, lonely nights,
When everything seems to go wrong
And you're asking yourself, oh what can I do-oo
Just remember this song.
Because while I can't promise you the world,
Or that everything will be alright.
But there is one thing I can guarantee,
You'll always be worth the fight.
When there's nothing left to lose,
When old loves fade away,
And there's nothing left to say
What can you do,
When the light in life starts to dim
When happiness runs far,
And you don't think it's coming back again.
I can't promise you the world,
Or that everything will be alright,
But there is one thing I can guarantee,
It's always worth the fight.
Oh oo--oh
