he speaks

He said let me speak, so we let him.
You’ll never guess what came next.
He spoke, and what he said then,
Made my heart skip a beat in my chest
He said, “life goes on, even when we stop living it,
But death only comes and goes.
We gotta take advantage of what we’ve been giving it,
Can disappear before you know
What’s going on. What’s going on?
That’s a good question to ask.
If you would’ve been listening you’d already know,
Instead of sitting there on your ass
You got your hand in the air cause you want my attention,
Then you wave it, cause you’re a dick.
I find your hand, which was you intention,
Look on your face made me sick
How you gonna sit here with that look on you face,
Waving you hand in the air?
Don’t look around, acting like you own this place,
When you shouldn’t even be here
Life isn’t as easy as you’ve seen so far,
Not everything is handed to you,
But for every birthday you get a brand new car,
And you mock my red isuzu

But in the end it’s me that knows,
How life really works,
She’s not a bitch per say, she just takes some getting used
to,
Once you lose that silver spoon you’ll see things a little
different,
So you better keep your mouth shut tight

I said shut your mouth, child, I don’t care to listen to
you,
I’ve heard the radio, I know what you’re gonna say,
You’re gonna say “life’s not hard, as long as you never
lose,
I mean really, it’s like a party in the USA?”

And I said “party? Are you kidding, I don’t think that’s
what this is,
Is that what you call it, when a man murders his own kids?
When a woman sells her body, so her kids can go to school?
When that same school, gets shot up by a bunch of gutless
fools?

We don’t see eye to eye, I guess, I think you might be a
little shorter,
Cause the real world, seems to fly right over your head,
Now go ahead and tell the waiter “um, this is not cooked to
order”
While the homeless scour the trash for week old bread
