Lost  for Eternity

I think you need to edit our to over?...and wonder to wander..I like some of the concepts of this short write, but not that of eternal damnation and only getting one chance...too much simplistic religious symbolism for my taste...

Although one could read into this poem the idea that souls only get one chance and if they miss it they are condemned forever, I'd not say that the "condemnation" need necessarily be just interpreted as eternal damnation. Another way to look at it is from the perspective of a soul that knows it is about to be reincarnated... if the person was expecting Heaven at best or Hell at worst, perhaps for some of them the idea of having another go at life is worse because it lacks finality, closure, or the lasting promise of something permanent after death. So the souls in this poem could be interpreted as being of that variety, if the reader wished to think of it like that. I like all of the poems by you, musical_woof_elf, because they have enough depth to them that they allow the reader to interpret things from their own perspective as well as from the perspective of the poems themselves. Which is a brilliant poetic form! Keep up the amazing work... it is impressive. :)
