Stare into the darkness of gloom and abyss,
And you will only see things that you dread,
Delusions of terror you did not know exist,
In the eternal roots that manifest in my head...

You reside in your world so hollow and cold,
In your life there is nothing but pain,
You will know when the darkness has found you,
There will be no one but yourself to blame...

It is a place where shadows dance on the walls,
And the screams you hear never rest,
Where something reaches for you in the dark,
Like the bite that occurs on the side your neck...

It seems like I've been here forever,
I'd escape but there is just no way out,
In here they caress the soul of the weak,
And it leaves you in a world filled with nothing but doubt...

In fear your eyes close to the screams of the night,
And discover the evil begins,
Feeling alone in the darkness,
In a place where the fear never ends...
†
Where you cannot recall the shape of a smile,
Laughter is a sound of the past,
Any solitude now gone forever,
This is where final pleas are now cast..

Cries in the dark and shadows that chant,
Offset the balance of life,
It's gone far past the medications,
That were deemed to make everything right...

Passion a journey for the few that are damned,
In the bondage of the chains and restraints,
Judgement now passed with a sentence of death,
As you pass through the cemeteries rusted gates...

Resurrection of souls succumb to the night,
As they invite you into their fear,
Resentment for some is the final end,
But those few are no longer here...

The shattered illusions of those that adore,
The darkness and abyss forevermore...
