It is said,
Eight limbs must be grown.

First comes control,
morality at best,
before virtue takes its test,
manhood if you believe in it,
righteous postures so be it,
muscular control is heeded.
then comes the dynamic aspect,
some call it just breathing.

Introspection only for the bold,
repression to babes, doing what their told,
learning to focus themselves singularly,
learning the basics of meditation,
many thoughts of control, come and go,
an uninterrupted fixation,
finally comes synthesis to take its place,
some call it ecstasy, others endless time and space.
