feed the children
as she sulks from heartache
the children fight
swinging swords
in place of proper nutrition
hungry they swing in
blood lust
she dares to give up
in prostrate position
she looks up
to see her son
sitting quietly watching her
eating crackers
how could she give up
when he wont give up on her
she ask herself
she falls back on her face
In forgiveness for previous thoughts
she's gathers herself
grabs her child's hand and leads him to
the garden to pick food for dinner
