Beyond Sidewalks
Often times I wonder
of the distance I could run,
yet I find myself retracting
before the journey has begun.
So much time is spent it seems;
trying to make sense of space and dreams.
Mysteries are what lies between
the Stars, and why they gleam.
I wonder of the wanders
far beyond sidewalks' bound.
I ponder all the findings
just waiting to be found.
Should my eyes deceive me,
my stars would have forsaken.
Should I fall and scuff my knees,
perhaps I'd be awakened.
I ponder all the findings
just waiting to be found.
I wonder of the wanders
far beyond sidewalks' bound.
of the distance I could run,
yet I find myself retracting
before the journey has begun.
So much time is spent it seems;
trying to make sense of space and dreams.
Mysteries are what lies between
the Stars, and why they gleam.
I wonder of the wanders
far beyond sidewalks' bound.
I ponder all the findings
just waiting to be found.
Should my eyes deceive me,
my stars would have forsaken.
Should I fall and scuff my knees,
perhaps I'd be awakened.
I ponder all the findings
just waiting to be found.
I wonder of the wanders
far beyond sidewalks' bound.
