Paging Doctor Deity
His office filled to capacity
Some elderly, some before their time
But all of them athrob
Prepared to explain their pain
Nerves blazing on a scale of one to infinity
Deity breezes in, so breathless
His nurses flutter, exchanging glances
Speculation about the size of his cock
"Good morning sugars!" he beams
Winking from each to each
But there are patients to consider
The Good Doc organizes with ceremony
Having just returned from his nuptials
Catered and performed at the Vatican
The Bride royalty, one is told
The wait elongates
Catalogues from art auctions wearing thin
But then Nurse Acolyte appears
An audience granted for this specimen
Given to expect the Finest Treatment Possible
Just a bit of Surgery to set things straight
In the name of the Doctor
His Hun
And these nearly ghosts...
His office filled to capacity
Some elderly, some before their time
But all of them athrob
Prepared to explain their pain
Nerves blazing on a scale of one to infinity
Deity breezes in, so breathless
His nurses flutter, exchanging glances
Speculation about the size of his cock

For some reason, this makes me think of Beetlejuice. Hahahaha. This is super.

Thanks Virginia. I love "Beetlejuice" and pretty much all of Tim Burton's flicks.

Weird! I thought of Beetlejuice too until I got to the last lines and the the Lord's Prayer! Good combo! Funny, quick witted and just an excellent read!

Thanks Jaded. This doc actually did my spinal surgery to very mixed results. I'm embellishing here, but he actually did get married at the Vatican. How's that for humility?

Crowfly, I am not sure what to say about this piece. It is such a heavy topic, but then such a beautiful and fun written poem. I enjoyed reading it, a couple of times, in fact. Great write.

Thanks Sammy. You're right. It is a heavy topic. Still good for a few laughs, hopefully. Maybe I'll let this doc read it at my next appointment. See what kind of prognosis I get.

Funny I pictured a scene out of Silent Hill. The nurses to be specific. But then again I'm a bit twisted I guess. Great work...I love it.

Thanks Victorian. I love horror flicks. "Silent Hill." "The House On Haunted Hill." "The Hills Have Eyes." You name it.

This is amazing! Your words are so fascinatingly strung together, and you build up such a unique picture without using clichés. I've never seen anything quite like this. Amazing ink!

Thanks Atarliss. This particularly doc seems to think he's sacred. Thinks he's invulnerable. We'll see about that...
