Gypsy girl

gypsy within ripping out of my skin
my only saving grace is to get out
an travel this place

I've seen souless people
hidden behind the eye
heartless men hidden behind a grin

I've sailed in the stars
even been behind bars
hotwiring cars

talked to the man in the moon
slid down his tongue to a
war that will never be undone

made love on a Caribbean beach
seen Jesus eating a peach
an counting sheep

seen the depths of hell but didn't
look to hard it was
just up on the boulevard
watched my own funeral unravel
ashes carried in the wind

im a Gypsy within
