Loquacious for one
so small
For the one so deep
Ever-cheerful Annie is an incorrigible optimist.
Lloyd's essays were always incisive.
With blood
And under marrow
soaking all the sorrow
Let I be guilty of hyperbole.
Not an exalted task.
Take me as a circumlocution.
What about the brains ?

The brains are evident here. Your poem is spare, not guilty of circumlocution, an evasion in excess of words. And machination? I don't see a hidden agenda here. This seems benign, if anything. Annie and Lloyd could be young students, and you their teacher blessed with the exalted task of encouraging them. Circumlocution could be your gentle approach. I hope I'm not speaking out of turn in saying this is fine work, McJay.
