humanity lost?

Subtleness
In loneliness
Breeze washes over
Brushing over the meadow clover
Sun warming the field for the day
Lain with nature listening to all she has to say
Clouds meander in the sky's river,
Plodding along as they wander,
Birds sing their praises,
In their own methodical phrases,
Pondering,
Mind Wandering,
To a happier time and place,
Where the world was a happier space,
Room to flow,
Space to grow,
Notice the little things,
Such as how a new bike bell rings,
How it brought such joy,
From a simple toy,
Innocence seems to abate,
Extinguished by something that is never sate,
Infecting all,
Hidden behind their personal wall,
Afraid to let in,
As if it's some cardinal sin,
Is humanity lost,
No one seems to care and has forgotten its cost.
