Never-ending, lifeless fantasies
of the mortal are self-destructive
bewitching dreams of hope
to never end.
The silent fears of voiceless tongues echo
off the walls of the nocturnal mind
And only stop with the break of day
when ghosts begin to dream
of returning to their mortal lives
