In My Heart
I don't care what you've been,
I even care less who you are now,
I can only see tomorrow,
The beauty of what you'll become.
Reason might not support my insight,
This book will not be judged by the cover,
Not when I'm a believer in change,
For once compatibility's there, everything falls in place.
Life shapes us differently,
At a point we shape ourselves,
It's not about leaving fate to chance,
It's about taking our destiny into our hand.
I've taken mine already,
Chalked the signs in the chart of my plans,
Ups and downs fully considered,
Leaving you in the middle of it all.
Thus,I'm blinded to today's wrongs,
In due time perfection will come,
Even though it's a gradual procedure,
I'll be with you all the way.
Hopefully,you'll appreciate my effort,
And see the beauty in it all,
For in my heart you're that part of me,
Without which I'm forever incomplete.
I even care less who you are now,
I can only see tomorrow,
The beauty of what you'll become.
Reason might not support my insight,
This book will not be judged by the cover,
Not when I'm a believer in change,
For once compatibility's there, everything falls in place.
