If Only She Knew What They Wanted...

She's thirty-two
But she looks fifty,
Not just the looks
Her experience's loafty

She's seen all there is to see,
Done all there is to do,
She'll yell "That's what I want!"
But today she knows, all of that's vanity too

If only she could go back
She'll embrace that humble beginning,
But it's always regrets and wishes
On the day of reckoning

For she's seen men and seen cash,
Been to all the high places,
With a reputation rivalled by none,
Shame! Now she wish she never saw those faces

All she ever wanted was to defeat the poverty that haunted her family line,
To turn curse to blessing and be happy,
But the worst lessons can also be learned
When we seek happiness in money

So she traded her chance of being
The star she's really meant to be,
She crossed the line and took it by force,
Now all has vanished instantenously

Desperate lady's now misery-haunted,
Desperate lady's gloomy and down,
Desperate lady never knew what she wanted,
But desperate lady wanted it now!
