The Crowsway
BEFORE READING!
(Imagine in your mind's eye that you're standing in a hallway that continues on for what looks to be to no end. The lighting is very low just barely enough to walk safely down and notice that on each side are doors. This hallway, however it may look, is a visual representation of the subconscious mind. Existing behind every door is every memory of yours locked away...)
I see a dim light that lights the way
Where i find I'm looking down a long hallway
The mold on the walls don't look too good
Nor do the numerous doors made of rotted wood
HEY!
Holy Mary man, what the fuck was that?
If there's another creature in here then
Where's this fucker hiding at?
HEY!
OH SHIT! See, there it is again
Though it doesn't sound so mean
Maybe this one is a friend?
Then looking above me what do i see?
But a big black crow; staring at me
Nesting above me what do i see?
Just a big black crow, perched, looking at me
Not sure if whether he be looking for a fight
So i step to the left before i break to the right
I sing to the bird in a real low tone
Before i turn to the hall for a way back home
Then i wondered if the crow
Was maybe going my way
So i invited it along and it said...
HEY!
I wondered if the crow
Was maybe going my way
So i invited it along and it said...
HEY!
Once again the crow said...
HEY!
And just like that
We were on our way
Down a long hallway
That don't look right
So we step to the left
Then break to the right
Now something new has taken hold
I'm falling fast into a hole
Lost within some trance
I feel I'm losing all control
Then I hear the crow caw
And i snap back quick
To a lingering smell
So bad I'm feeling sick
And where the stench in the air
Is coming from i don't know
But it's odd for this place
Where the wind don't blow
The crows moves close with words to sing
So lean in to hear what's it's whispering
It continues telling me
To keep on walking in the light
So we step to the left
Before we break to the right
Now with this light
I'm looking down
This hall that goes forever more
Where finally
I can see
That something stands at every door
Look to my right and what do i see?
Just an evil clown, grinning at me
Look to my left now, what do i see?
But some crazy fuck blowing kisses at me
Each one comes with something to say
And each tempts me to walk their way
But i tell these mother fuckers
Take a big step back
For the crow looks pissed
And seems set to attack
Then something out of no where
Up head had caught my eye
A leg around a corner
With a finger moving up the thigh
I move on up ahead real quick so i can see
What it is up ahead acting so seductively
And standing there frozen
What do i see?
Just a skinless woman beckoning me
Blood drips down
From her whole body
Yet something about her is attracting me
Her eyes have fallen out
And her teeth are dirty
Got puss pouring out
From what's decaying freely
Her bones are all broken
And her tongue's gone too
Yet the door behind this horror
Is the one i gotta walk through
Something's guiding me her way
And as i get close
The crow yells...
HEY!
Magnets moving me her way
And as i get close
The crow yells...
HEY!
In this hyp-notic state
If feels as if i should begin
To disregard the crow
And follow this abomination in...
