Redefined

Fragments of a soul Ive been eager to fix,
Gritty truths thrown in the mix,
I've seen the way the moonlight tricks me,
Exposed the way your beauty hexed me.

I fitted the last piece of the puzzle today,
And it's redefined,
What I think I knew,
What I see in you.

Don't be shy if you want to visit,
Knock loud and clear,
Can't promise once I lock up,
That you'll be safe here,
But you like living on the edge,
Lying is the only pledge,
You took to heart.

I fitted the last piece of the puzzle today,
Hooray, hooray,
What a day...

And it's redefined,
What I think I knew,
What I see in you.
