I'll talk to you in earth tones so you understand my intentions

I eat plenty of Crow, this you know...
Life's virtues are always in our hands
if we look and take the time to
touch and understand.
I wanna talk with you with open arms
while I'm alive
look in your eyes
and see what really makes you breathe

This breathes with that delicate hesitation of pressing the words you've held so safely against the heart of another. It comes off very raw and sincere. A great write Zazzles, brandy breath and all. :)

I love the opening line, it is an absolute slap to the senses - "pay the fuck attention because I'm bringing it down to your level" I love it.
Great piece Zazzles, this kicks off with your hallmark sass, but then shifts to this exposed vulnerability, an admission of ethanol fueled courage.
