The Raven, Part 2

I hear her licking on the door
And fingering the lock
She's come from some nocturnal shore
Just as midnight stills the clock

Her name appears in ancient lore
Now too seldom fully read
She once was my lost Lenore
Now she's risen from the dead

The raven shrieks "Get lost you whore!
We sure as fuck don't need you here!"
She tells him not to be a bore
Or cultivate my neurotic fear

Her words make my spirit soar
And blast that hellish bird
His carcass dropping to the floor
Now will nevermore be heard.
