The Guilt and Regret of Weeping Seraphim
She lays In my arms on a bed of roses
Tear drops stain her cheeks
The pills that kill the pain
And the whiskey that cases dreams away
Have finally taken their toll
On a soul that broke on the rocks
Far below where angels fear to venture
Guilt and regret are lovers entwined
Where seraphim weep over fallen stars
The pain and abuse endured
Seems so pointless now
That the agony never stops
Is this what love truly is?
Why can't we just die together
Like we should have
Right from the start?
