Soliloquy

Listen and learn, patiently wait for your turn
truth turned the table, point of no return
yearn for the riches, while the bridges he burn
finally free like a bird, no longer concerned
at the end of the day, you get what you earned

listen to your heart, it tells you when to be alarmed
listen to your mind, not like a fool in war unarmed
walking with the ghoul, walking around charmed        
back to the fool, don’t fall victim to superstition
listen to the logician, claiming history needs revision      
the media is deceitful, lying like the truth commission
envision, a world where you can trust a politician
but they are murderous like Macbeth’s ambition
you never pull the trigger, but approve the mission
the sincere truth is, you gave birth to the precondition
of war and misery, you guilty, sponsoring the artillery
blinded by greed, no mystery you found a Pyrrhic victory
stay on the grind, speak Shakespearean, my own soliloquy
honestly, wonder whether an island is the place for me to be
recently and increasingly, it seems time passes so silently
remember, you ain’t nothing compared to a dynasty
that is the reason why the key, to success is the family
certain as gravity, fool, don’t follow the wolf voluntarily
my recipe, plan, plot and predict, and think carefully
