February 3, 1959... the day the music died
I know
you know
the lyrics to the song...
Imagine though
imagine ...NO!
the music is too strong...
Sad date
sad anniversary
but music it's lifelong...
Music died
music survived
calming souls who sing along...
*sad day in history... bye bye miss american pie...
RIP Buddy Holly...Ritchie Valens...Big Bopper

"Music survived" is the key line. Buddy Holly and other late rockers live on in their music and words. It is a sad day, but Holly managed to achieve immortality. Fine remembrance, Deborah.

Impact crater from that plane sparked many audiophiles from casual observers of rock. Don McLean reminded a generation later that shit was real, not to be taken for granted.
Yeah, Deborahlee, we all know the lyrics to the song. Thanks for releasing this one!
