Silence
She cries in silence
Day and night.
Heart clenching to fight the thoughts.
She remembers more than she cares to speak.
Loneliness is the worse time of all
When all she can do is reflect on the good and bad.
Close your eyes
And hope the images don't flash.
Scream in quiet despair.
No one can hear your pain.
Trying to close a chapter at a time
Didn't realize it would be this hard.
