first times
Running low on my know how
The flip came so quick
Now my heels won't unstick
My head hit the ground and
I'm finding out now that
Far-fetched isn't too far to catch
First times can come any day
Sudden change in the script
The lines should make me sick
But I say them anyway
The tables can turn and
I'm starting to learn that
All falls aren't that bad at all
First times can come any day
Say what you say
I'm in it today and I'll give it away
It's not such a crime
To break broken lines
When my face starts to shine
First times can come any day
"Out there" is a place that we made out of doubt
"Too soon" is a phrase that we use to explain; we're afraid,
Led by a crowd lost in mazes
Keep us around simple places
Simple heads, simple faces
Breaking out takes making changes
First times can come any day
"Cant" is a word that never could; if we should
"Could" is a word that asks if we would
But still we say "it's too far away"
There's gray between logical meanings
There's a reason for changing the season
First times can come any day
