I Believed You

I believed all the things you said.
I believed that my heart never bled.
I believed in you one hundred percent.
I believed you wouldn't leave, but you went.

You went and took me with you.
You made me wonder what I'm to do.
You made me realize that you're not what I want.
You made me realize you're in back and I'm in front.

I didn't blame you for all of the tears I shed.
I didn't cry when you made me wish I were dead.
I didn't complain about all the things you did.
I didn't end it when you pushed and made me slid.

I thought you'd make sure my life had no dread.
I thought you'd follow no matter where I led.
I thought we would shed sunlight through the rain.
I thought we would have happiness and conquer the pain.

I'm not a last option to anyone.
I should be the very first.
I should be the one making decisions.
You should be the one conquering missions.

Missions to prove what I mean to you.
Prove without me you wouldn't know what to do.
I'm done being a door mat and I'm done trying.
I'm done not being important and always crying.

Differences is what you make.
Happiness is what you take.
You say things, but they mean something different.
Maybe now you'll avoid try to be so secretive.
