Joey wants to Dance
Joey doesn't want to work today.
Joey wants to dance.
Joey doesn't want to sing today.
Joey wants to dance.
Joey doesn't want to paint today.
Joey wants to dance.
They continue with the silly game,
Not sparing her a glance.
Everyone knows what Joey wants,
Joey wants to dance.
They don’t know her family.
They don’t know her past.
They all know what Joey wants;
Joey wants to dance.
Joey lives in a reality,
where fantasy tends to rule.
For the real world in not sunny enough
and often way too cruel.
They tell her it’s impossible,
when she cries and screams and begs.
Joey will never dance again;
for Joey has no legs.
They all know what Joey wants;
Joey wants to dance.
Joey lives in a reality,
where fantasy tends to rule.
For the real world in not sunny enough
and often way too cruel.
They tell her it’s impossible,
when she cries and screams and begs.
Joey will never dance again;
for Joey has no legs.
