Happy Birthday, Jesus!

It had been a long road for your parents, Joseph and your mother Mary.
They had managed to hide from king Herod who at that time was assumed to be rude, evil and scary.
Finding herself in a horse stable full of stale; Mary gave birth in dirt, nothing fancy.
Nobody knew at the time how special you were: a man who wouldn't even marry!

You'd managed to gain yourself a high following on earth.
You managed to do this without the media or social networks;
Just 12 friends - one of them would later disregard your worth.
The things that you did, usually caused a stare and disbelief: for instance, the way your mother got pregnant and gave birth?
The way that you minimized pain and later you did the same thing to death.

Jesus, your presence has caused a lot of debates.
Even the way you left the earth to go back to heaven - such heavenly change of states!
You left all your powers to everyone who truly believed, and your mates.
Now they can heal the sick, give sight to the blind, enable miracles, open all the gates!

May your name be remembered, not only on your birthday - but on everyday.
May we remember you even after this Lord's day.
May we come back to you and refrain from going astray.
Lord, you're the truth who sets us free and who (without fail) always makes a way.
Happy birthday!
