Phantom
I revel in darkness.
Wrapped in the sadness
Of the sky.
The meloncholy moon
My only light.
I am the master of my world.
My canvas filled
With the colors of my soul.
Though my heart screams;
For these empty,
Thoughtless beings
Have no depth
In their shallow world.
But let them see
What they want to see.
My starry cloak
Rather than
My firey eyes.
I shall be free from judgement
For I know who I am.
I am the one
The Night Goddess herself
Cannot hold onto,
Though she longs to.
I am the very picture
Of a silent movie.
And I love
The black and white film
That I am.
Wrapped in the sadness
Of the sky.
The meloncholy moon
My only light.
I am the master of my world.
My canvas filled
With the colors of my soul.
Though my heart screams;
For these empty,
Thoughtless beings
Have no depth
In their shallow world.
But let them see
What they want to see.
My starry cloak
Rather than
My firey eyes.
I shall be free from judgement
For I know who I am.
I am the one
The Night Goddess herself
Cannot hold onto,
Though she longs to.
I am the very picture
Of a silent movie.
And I love
The black and white film
That I am.
