The Quote

The Quote

“The greater the artist, the greater the doubt. Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize.”

Robert Hughes 1938

Ninety nine percent of what I write
Is just not good enough
One percent is utter crap
The other thirty percent of what I write
Wont make the cut despite the fact
It’s worthy of publication by Penguin classic
This leaves fifty two percent of what I write
Twenty eight percent
Is proof positive, that there is no god
Thirty seven percent
Is Brilliance without parallel
The final sixty percent
Establishes that I was never
Any good at Math

“The greater the doubt the more the likelihood is, that you are shit. Perfect paranoia is given to the mentally ill as a diagnosis”
