Worlds Apart

It’s past 3 in the morning as I walk into the room.
Trying to ignore you as my filters been consumed.
You look at me sideways, just another piece of meat.
Someone for you to conquer, and lay out at your feet.
You say what you thinks funny, or you may have known it’s wrong.
But maybe where you came from manners weren’t taught that long.
So I try to walk on by, and go on with my night.
God knows that the last thing I should look for is a fight.
But I stop and turn to him and I just couldn’t resist.
To ask him a few questions as he’s staring at my tits.
So how does that work out for you? I’m sure it can’t work well.
And if for any reason it does, do you end up with a night of hell?
Cause any woman worth her salt wouldn’t take too kind,
To the insinuation that her body’s importance outweighs her mind’s.
And the fact I must be “working” not just out having some fun.
Makes me think you were raised in a convent and live life as a nun.
But keep on bashing women, and yes you’ll get some home.
For pity or for hate, I would rather be alone.
It all ends up much better, when you open up your heart.
If nothing else say something nice although your worlds apart.
