I won't Miss You
Happily she flew
Like a bird out of the cage
What she never knew
Was that he was never enraged
Rather he found peace
And courageous ways to follow
Never has he seen ease
And a true hope for tomorrow
She had once been his all
Love was what they shared
Before the crashing fall
She was one that truly cared
But the world is full of wolfs
With hearts as hard as stone
Who carry themselves aloof
Never satisfied with their own
Now she needed a break
From all she ever cherished
Everything seemed like a mistake
To her she wished it perished
But he had seen it coming
He wasn't blind to the twist
Easily enraged and outgoing
Her heart was somewhere else
Out is where she was happy
He calls and gets that voice
Back home she is hot and snappy
He knew she had found a better choice
And that was when he was hurt
But as soon as he watched her leave
He found redemption on the spot
Henceforth he never grieved
Like a bird out of the cage
What she never knew
Was that he was never enraged
Rather he found peace
And courageous ways to follow
Never has he seen ease
And a true hope for tomorrow
She had once been his all
Love was what they shared
