Eh I think you could've done better.
It was too short and you should've ended it with a period.
It was ok, but it could use some work.

Trying new forms of poetry. This Haiku is my first attempt at relaying my discontent with the school system. Thank you for your input. I do appreciate it.

Politics, Nepotism, and it's not what you know but who you blow. Which I've been privy to before but I expected better from an institution as this.

Yes xmar!
I had to make a recent phone call to a Dean myself to express my concern on something and by the afternoon, I saw results.
I'm sure that the frustration can go both ways as a parent and as an employee of the board of ed..... but as a parent, I have to keep them on their toes because they think we don't care and do what they want with our kids.
I said all that to say, great job ; )

Yes you do have to voice your opinion or your child just gets pushed along in the system. They are all corporate cronies.

A perfect haiku I clearly like. Today school's business, no playground for the mind anymore. What a pity ...

Exactly. They train for a test. Individuality, and free thought have gone out the window.

I've seen a lot and its disturbing to see parents hold these people up as though they are pillars of the community but the people who work around them are the only ones that know better. Thanks for stopping by Crim.
