And then I saw her
and then she looked beauty
and then I told her "I love you".
And then she smiled shyly
and then consulted her heart
and then accepted my love.
And then coffee dates we went
and then we kissed
and then we exchange vows.
And then the mornings were bright
and then the nights were warm
and then the days were short
And then she left
and then she disappeared
and then she never came back.
And then my heart missed her
and then my heart was lonesome
and then my heart was broken.

It's the figure of speech- repetition.
It makes the numbers express more emotion.
Good write. I loved the sequencing of events
and how occasions such as having coffee together
could be such a significant event.
A poet needs not to explain himself. 'Could ask
for a little more dripping from the soul but
then, I guess you could be holding back as well.
