Cold Apartment, Body Heat and You

Where I live
The heat is never on
when you want it most
25 degrees and the steam isn't pumping

Waking up early, dog wanting to go out
But feeling the warmth of your body in bed
Snuggling in close to catch your heat
Just enough to face the cold dog journey

Back inside, dog mission complete
You're still sleeping but the day awaits
It's a long winter, plenty of snuggles to go
So glad they are with you ...
