November Night
with Earth so
full of beauty,
and the moon beams
out of sight,
the wind it
bellows softly
on such a deep
November night,
there’s a rose
still in the garden,
looking as
it were alive,
it searches
with my heart,
to find the
amber in its eye,
so I tell it
winter’s dream,
with a glistened
pith delight,
as the only
star that’s shown,
falls deeper
in the sky,
and I wonder
of my lover,
as the willow
asks me why,
the wind it
bellows softly,
with moon beams
out of sight,
and Earth’s so
full of beauty,
on the kind
November night.
