Vaporous

As early vestiges
fall away,
Earth tastes vapor,
opus of a high sea;
the divine essence
revered in the flesh,
to be dust & shadows,
these limbs wince;
we had them, once
a force around
inherent scant of grace
capable only in pieces
of science & beautiful souls.
