Hardly a Saint
His sin was contender
Challenging the other man who’s a swarm defender
Where etched in superiority vile words get exchanged
Gunfire erupts defining deranged
One saying the other rushed ::out of his mind::
Seems that’s the defense given much of the time
Initiated by hate? Maybe it’s fear?
Perhaps to prove a point of who runs things here
Citizens make claims of being broken hearted
A few into anarchy acting retarded
Remind me again
How this wave got started
Methodically it shifts to the dearly departed
Dropped in the street. Dies and gets martyred
At this rate asking, “who he outsmarted”
Viewing what’s human and the way it gets botched
From Longines to short jeans; Citizens Watch
Revelation about foe and which one is friend
While the clock is still ticking
Counting down
