Painting?
Her hand rises above the air
The needle caresses the skin
Slowly
Painful
Carving into you
Her mind
Painted
In your blood
On your skin
From your pain
By your fear.
Her laughter
Fills you
With joy
As you slowly,
But surely
Falls into a deep sleep.
A sleep,
From which
You will not awaken.
The needle caresses the skin
Slowly
Painful
Carving into you
Her mind
Painted
In your blood
On your skin
From your pain
By your fear.
Her laughter
Fills you
With joy
As you slowly,
But surely
Falls into a deep sleep.
A sleep,
From which
You will not awaken.

I like the imagery here, it certainly fits the category of dark poems. It perhaps portrays a murderer, a lover even.
I enjoyed reading it nonetheless. Well done!
