Still Lief
How much time had
passed since the vase
with the pink roses,
How long had the
asylum been bare,
as so full of life back then,
He sat down and thought
things over,
time hung heavy on his hands,
I was somewhat at a loss
as to how to begin,
“Have a van Gogh,” I said.
