Advice for the young at heart (Desire)

Never pursue a woman
who doesn't inspire
that certain level of desire
that leaves you tracing
the shape of her lips
and the curve of her hips
pressing into yours
as you lay in bed,
beside her
or alone, breathing heavily,
deep in the back of your mind.

She leaves a sensation that lingers:
the way that her delicate fingers
interlock into the negative spaces
like puzzle pieces
as palms meet in the center
touching
skin to skin.


I tenderly crave
to do it again

and again.
