POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
"The limits of my language mean the limits of my world." (L.Wittgenstein) I try to shift them in writing. Any questions? Just ask.
ROMA AETERNA
Quod non potuerunt in ferravia subterranea manticularii , rerum memorialium mercatores facile fecerunt.

the souvenir dealers in broad daylight prevailed.

Surprise
Eating apples out of season
expecting fresh and crisp to be
they aren't mealy without reason
read the sticker, silly -
they're kiwis, don't you see?

No answers
No answers,
just proposals
we can offer our kids
on their road
to independence.
No answers
to their questions
for the meaning of life,
perhaps ideas
is what we
plant in their hearts.
But even if we'd give them
just a circle, its centre,
and a straight line
they'll create a world
from those elements.
A solid point
is all they need
to lift the earth
off its foundation.
We ought to be that point.

Siesta
"Sit brevis aut nullus tibi somnus meridianus."
( Regimen sanitatis Salernitanum ca. 1050)
Napping at noon is
luxury at its best, yes -
la dolce vita

Nanotechnology
...nanos gigantum humeris insidentes..... "(Bernard of Chartres, 12th century)
it's said
that we are dwarfs,
standing on the shoulders of giants...
therefore being able to see further than they ever did...
it's true...
sometimes...
and when that happens
be prepared
to keep this moment in your heart
and preserve it for all times
