A Metophor
The water
Oh the clear water
As shimmering
As the stars
As beautiful
As the moon
On the surface
But down beneath
In the murky
Depths of the mind
Is so crowded
So dreary
That the normal man
Cannot tolerate
Its desolate reaches
The creatures
Are so complex
So terrible
That the normal man
Cannot even fathom
Every person
That has dared
Tread these dreadful depths
Has drowned
As have I
Even though
These waters
Are mine to control
Oh the clear water
As shimmering
As the stars
As beautiful
As the moon
On the surface
But down beneath
In the murky
Depths of the mind
Is so crowded
So dreary
That the normal man
Cannot tolerate
Its desolate reaches
The creatures
Are so complex
So terrible
That the normal man
Cannot even fathom
Every person
That has dared
Tread these dreadful depths
Has drowned
As have I
Even though
These waters
Are mine to control
