Temptation (SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2003)

wind tossed tempest seas
auburn haired temptress calling
our souls fast entwined

the steadfast matron
is fidelities victim
faith, a promise kept

fain i would have both
should the fates allow this dance
and you as sisters

heart, soul, mind, body, honor
and duty served, easily
done, the fates may say

yet the world may balk
recompence for no wrong take
demanding an end

as for god, he knows
our hearts, our souls, wence they lie
just, strict, yet unbound
