THE WRONG KIND OF SUNSHINE
Color meets matter grey.
Come forth you tragic day.
I welcome you with infected open arms.
The sun shoots narrow rays.
Retina melts away.
I trail behind the falling stars.
And it shines my way a cold metallic.
It brands me new,a reborn addict.
And I'm fooled by it's blatant malice.
Don't stare my eyes burn sin and static.
Comfort meets my dismay.
Bloodstream warms the veins.
I wash off the reality.
The sun shoots jaded rays.
Aura now radiates.
I fuck myself with vanity.
And it shines my way shallow enigma.
Wearing self inflicted stigma.
Each molecule kills my charisma.
Replaces will you will mistrust.
